The following almost speaks for itself, hopefully the event is as good as the past few have been, can we pull it off?
Fugitive
Yes, that's me, and I am supposed to be mooning everyone. The original picture that I used to create the figure wasn't all that bad, I was being pretty modest. Really though, I felt that the slight film grain effect I managed was pretty sweet, especially since there isn't a film grain filter in Pixelmator.
Here's a few posters that I've made recently for our great little group of friends, and the fun activities that we try to pull off, some times with great success, sometimes with only a bit of success. Still, I really enjoy the self driven outlet for what little creativity I have that these posters provide, so I hope that you all enjoy them!
Murder in the Dark
Good times, the fedora was Noah's idea, and Ragnhild was such a trooper for letting me get a bad photo of her via my iPad. I think if I was to make another Murder in the Dark poster, I'd probably reorient the lettering so that the only cross word that lines up would be "Die", having two of them kind of defeats the purpose of an emphasis.
Tron Simple
I settled on this poster because I loved the minimalistic appearance of the disc after I messed with it for a while. It all seemed to come together after I threw the filter on the background to get the "laser show" effect.
Tron (Two)
The result of my initial attempt to flesh out the Tron idea, I decided not to stick with it, because I felt like I was being too lazy; the background and disc are just a very slightly modified picture I pulled off a Google search.
